Job Summary

Join a dedicated team as a Registered Nurse on a 24-bed Medical-Surgical Orthopedics unit in Lawton, Oklahoma. This role offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive care to a diverse patient population recovering from orthopedic surgeries and various medical conditions.

You will be responsible for managing a patient load with a favorable 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio, ensuring high-quality, individualized care. This position is ideal for an RN seeking to apply their expertise in a supportive and dynamic clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care for medical-surgical and orthopedic patients.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Monitor patient vital signs, interpret data, and report changes in patient condition.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Educate patients and their families on health conditions, medications, and post-discharge care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
Required Qualifications
