Job Summary
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse specializing in Emergency Medicine at a facility located in Hilo, Hawaii. The Emergency Department is a 28-bed unit, comprehensively equipped with 4 trauma bays, 2 dedicated behavioral health rooms, and 22 cardiac monitor rooms, catering to a diverse range of critical and acute patient needs.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert nursing care for patients presenting with various emergency conditions, including trauma, cardiac events, and behavioral health crises.
- Operate and monitor specialized equipment within trauma bays, cardiac monitor rooms, and behavioral health units.
- Perform rapid patient assessments, implement interventions, and manage patient flow efficiently in a high-volume setting.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate and thorough electronic health records and documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure.
- Experience working in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting.
- Ability to manage diverse patient populations, including trauma, cardiac, and behavioral health cases.
