This position focuses on providing exceptional care in an emergency department setting, handling a mix of pediatric and adult patients with various acute conditions. Key Responsibilities of the RN - ED- Provide nursing care based on patient needs and clinical assessments
- Perform cardiac rhythm interpretation and management of critical care drips
- Administer medications, including TNK/TPA, and perform conscious sedation
- Manage ventilators and chest tubes, and perform PIV starts
- Conduct ESI assessments to triage patients effectively
Requirements of the RN - ED- Current RN license with BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, CPI certifications
- Minimum of 2 years of ED RN experience
- TNCC preferred but not required
