Must-Have:
- Weekend availability (Every Other Weekend/Every Other Holiday)
- Certifications must be current and in hand
- EKG/Telemetry exam onsite
Description:
Position requires a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room.
Minimum of 2 years of experience is required.
Nurses should hold current certifications in ACLS, BLS, CPI, NIHSS, and PALS.
Ability to float within scope of training is expected.
Nurses will be responsible for a patient ratio of 5 at night.
Experience with a charting system is required.
Preferred experience includes Trauma Level I or II.
Candidates should have experience in general emergency department practices for both adults and pediatrics.
Must have skills in managing various emergency situations, including but not limited to traumatic injuries, respiratory issues, and psychiatric conditions.
Flu vaccines are mandatory; no exemptions are accepted.
Candidates will need to complete a compliance process prior to starting.
Documentation related to nursing experience is required for submission.
Attendance will be monitored throughout the contract duration.
Nurses may not have been a permanent employee within the past six months.
The contract entails a maximum of three absences.
