On-call work is not necessary. Floating within the scope of training is expected. Experience in charting systems is required. Candidates must have skills in various emergency procedures and conditions including abdominal pain, asthma, intoxications, and more. The patient demographics include neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Daily patient census is approximately 80. The unit supports interdisciplinary services including respiratory and interpretation services. Candidates should be attentive to compliance requirements and policies regarding attendance and module completion.
