Job Opportunity – Emergency Department Registered Nurse – North Carolina

Schedule: 12-hour night shifts (18:45 - 07:15), 36 hours per week, every other weekend required. Contract duration up to February 27, 2027.

- High-acuity emergency department with approximately 170 visits per day across 53 beds
- Patient ratios: Non-critical 3:1, critical 2:1, with appropriate staffing support

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of registered nursing experience
- Active RN license (North Carolina or Compact state license)
- Required certifications: TNCC, ACLS, BLS, NIH Stroke Scale, and MOAB
- Required skills: IV start and maintenance, triage, telemetry interpretation, and conscious sedation
- Demonstrated experience with blood product administration, ventilated patient care, dysrhythmia interpretation and management
- Proficiency with Epic charting system required
- Must complete EKG testing prior to start date
- Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
Preferred Qualifications
- ENPC certification
- Previous trauma center experience
- Level II Trauma Center experience
