Job Opportunity – Emergency Department Registered Nurse – Tennessee
Start Date: November 30, 2026
Location: Tennessee
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 3x12 Night Shift, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, Every other weekend (subject to change based on facility needs)
Highlights:
- Comprehensive Emergency Department serving all patient age groups from neonates to geriatrics
- 44-bed unit with 27 rooms and daily census of approximately 130 patients
- Epic EMR system with Omnicell medication management
- Full interdisciplinary support including Respiratory Services, Radiology, Rapid Response Teams, and Pharmacy
- 36 hours of orientation provided with billable pre-assignment module completion (up to 16 hours)
- Patient ratio experience of 4:1
Requirements:
- Active Tennessee RN license
- Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department experience required
- Minimum 1 year of Epic EMR experience required
- Minimum 2 years total nursing experience
- Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, CPI, and PALS
- Preferred certification: TNCC
- Flu vaccination required (no exemptions)
- Competency in comprehensive emergency nursing skills including trauma care, critical interventions, procedural sedation, dysrhythmia management, and triage
- Ability to float to other units as needed based on census and patient care requirements
