Job Title: Travel RN - Emergency Department Profession: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 - 19:00 Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: Valid Registered Nurse License Certifications: Critical Care certification preferred, TNCC required Must-Have: Candidates must have critical care experience and TNCC certification. Description: The Emergency Department has 24 main beds, 12 fast track beds, and 8 hall beds. There are 67 staff members in total. During the day shift, there are typically a charge nurse and 10 nurses. The patient ratio is 4:1. Major equipment includes Belmont, sono-site machines, Arctic Sun, Bair hugger, and Lucas. The Emergency Department performs airway and resuscitation management, procedural sedation, chest tube insertion, wound care, and splinting. A positive attitude and a patient-first approach are essential. Candidates should be calm under pressure and work well with others. This organization is recognized for nursing excellence and exceptional patient care. The Emergency Department has received multiple awards for clinical excellence and teamwork. It is designated as a Level III Trauma Center and offers specialized care, including a Level III NICU and a Level II Client Center.
