Description:
Offering up to 26 weeks of employment.
Required certifications include ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC.
A minimum of 2 years of recent experience is strongly recommended.
Level 1 Trauma experience is preferred.
Weekend work will be required, including every other weekend and holidays.
Candidates must expect to clock in and be ready for report at the scheduled shift time.
There is no call requirement for this position.
Float requirements do not apply.
All lab work must be scheduled within 48-72 hours of signing.
Scheduled time off is limited to no more than 10 days.
Background checks will be conducted and must be noted prior to submission.
References must be at a supervisory level.
Proof of flu vaccination is required upon submission, with exemptions to be submitted within 48 hours.
Modules and training will be completed during employment.
General emergency department experience is preferred.
Candidates are expected to work with various patient age groups including neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics.
Daily census is approximately 260 patients.
Support services available include respiratory, interpretation, phlebotomy, social services, pharmacy, and unit secretary.
