Description:
This position will involve working in a fast-paced environment with a patient ratio of 4:1.
Candidates must possess strong skills in Neuro and Cardiac nursing.
Procedures performed in the unit include STEMI, Stroke/TPA, and RSI.
Candidates are expected to have a high energy level and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
The typical staffing for day shift includes 5-7 RNs, and for night shift, 5-6 RNs.
The unit primarily uses EMR for documentation.
Preferred scrub color is royal blue, but this is not a requirement.
Candidates will be considered first if they possess the preferred skills and experience.
This unit has been recognized for achieving a 12-minute door-to-needle TPA time.
Additionally, it boasts the fastest bed assignment times within the division.
The team consists of dedicated staff members, contributing to a supportive work environment.
New technology and equipment are available to enhance patient care and staff efficiency.
