Description:
Candidates must be prepared to accept assignments based on departmental needs.
Upon accepting an assignment, the unit manager may assign you to an "Emergency Team."
There is an expectation to stay at the facility until after the emergency event passes.
Specific pay details will be communicated during emergency events.
Applicants should be comfortable working in high-pressure situations.
Holiday schedules require working during Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year's.
Thanksgiving time off cannot be guaranteed.
Certifications required include ACLS, BLS, PALS, and CPI.
Experience in handling emergency cases is essential.
Candidates must have skills in various critical care situations.
Knowledge of charting systems is required.
Travelers may require adjustment to patient care assignments based on unit needs.
