Job Title: RN Labor and Delivery Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 AM - 07:30 PM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 3 years of Labor and Delivery/Perinatal experience in a high-volume delivery service. License: Registered Nurse License Certifications: BLS Provider certification, Neonatal Resuscitation certification, Advanced Life Support, Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Certification Must-Have: - Associates Degree in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing - 3 years minimum of Labor and Delivery/Perinatal experience in a high-volume delivery service Description: This is a Level IV Client Designation facility. It consists of multiple Labor, Delivery, Recovery suites, C-section suites, Mother-Baby Couplet rooms, and monitored Ante-partum areas. The environment is an academic teaching service with a large number of private OB practices. It operates a high-risk, fast-paced delivery service performing over 500 deliveries per month. There is 24-hour in-house attending OB coverage, anesthesia coverage, and NICU coverage. The facility also has a Perinatal Transport Program. The Women’s Emergency Department caters to patients from 16 weeks to 6 weeks postpartum and also has an expanded GYN scope. This department has a total of 14 beds.
