The unit has 38 beds, with three main areas for patient care. The staff consists of a mix of day and night RNs. The equipment used on the unit includes Ventilators, BiPAP, EKG machines, Arterial Lines, Belmont devices, and Chest Tubes. Electronic Medical Record (EMR) is managed with Meditech. The typical hiring profile for candidates includes strong prioritization and time management skills. Successful candidates will be patient-focused, detail-oriented, a team player, and possess a positive attitude. Coachable individuals are highly valued on this unit. Procedures performed on the unit include Port Placement and Chest Tubes. Scheduled requirements include four weekend shifts and two Friday shifts per four-week schedule. Additional holiday coverage is expected, including two major holidays and two minor holidays.
