The documentation system used is Meditech and Tele-Neuro. Scheduling requirements include working 3 shifts per week with rotating weekends. There is no floating policy in this unit. Patient experience requirements include AIDET and communication boards. Certifications required are License, BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIH Stroke Scale. Advanced skills are not needed for this position. Procedures performed on the unit include Tele-Neuro, moderate sedation, and basic joint reduction. The dress code requires a navy blue uniform.
