TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in Harvey, Illinois, 60426!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year in an urban, Level I Trauma Emergency Department required License: Must have an active RN license Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS required Must-Have: Must have prior experience in an urban, Level I Trauma Emergency Department Description: The position is for an Emergency Room Registered Nurse. The nurse will work with a patient ratio of 1:4. Teaching hospital experience is preferred. This role requires every other weekend availability. Floating between units is required. The required certifications include BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS. Additional preferred certifications are TNCC and CPI. Experience in trauma level I is mandatory. The work environment includes a diverse patient population ranging from neonates to geriatrics. Daily visits are approximately 120, with a room capacity of 34. Interdisciplinary support is available from various services including respiratory, phlebotomy, and pharmacy. The nurse will manage a variety of emergency situations and conditions. Skills required include administering medications, performing assessments, and managing trauma cases. The role involves adhering to safety and procedural guidelines in a fast-paced environment.
