Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: Winter Contract (13-week option) Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:00) Experience: Minimum of 1.5 years of Emergency Department experience License: Valid Ohio Registered Nurse License Certifications: ACLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI/AVADE/CalmEveryStorm Must-Have: Must work every other weekend and every other holiday. EPIC experience required. Description: Winter contract option of 13 or 18 weeks. Must work a minimum of every other holiday. Traveler will be the first to float at the discretion of the facility. Agency will float in and out of specialty clusters. Assignments will be made based on medical appropriateness and nursing care team support. Candidate may be assigned to float between facilities within a reasonable distance. Traveler must be available to work every other weekend and holiday. The facility reserves the right to cancel two shifts due to low census per contract duration. The facility may cancel the agreement with two weeks' notice without penalty. Travelers are not eligible for employee incentives. Daily patient census in the emergency department indicates a busy environment with high patient turnover. Interdisciplinary support includes various medical and service departments. This role requires the management of critical care situations and various emergency procedures. Candidates must be comfortable floating between units based on skill set and unit demands. Previous charge experience is preferred. Achievement of standard patient ratios is expected for day and night shifts. Maximum requested time off per contract is 14 days. References are not required for application submission. All active state RN licenses or compact licenses will be accepted. Candidates with any past license disciplinary actions will not be accepted. Prior employees who have not been extended must wait six months before applying.
