Job Description: Emergency Department Travel Nurse (ED RN) Position Overview- Location-Tuscaloosa Alabama We are seeking high-caliber, professional Registered Nurses for a 13-week assignment within a high-volume, comprehensive Emergency Department. Operating as a designated Level III Trauma Center and Level II Stroke Center, this facility treats over 60,000 patients annually. Candidates must demonstrate exceptional clinical competency, adaptability across varying patient acuity levels, and a strong commitment to a patient-centered care approach. Compensation & Schedule Shift: Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) Includes every other weekend and holidays as required. Block Scheduling: Highly likely to accommodate block shifts for preferred combinations (e.g., Fri/Sat/Sun or Sat/Sun/Mon). Weekly Structure: Available for 36 or 48 hours per week Contract Length: 13 Weeks Target Start Date: ASAP Position Requirements Experience: Minimum of 2 years of professional experience is preferred; however, a strict baseline of 18 months of experience working under the highest level of professional license will be considered. A minimum of 1 full year of dedicated experience in an Emergency Department setting is mandatory. Education: Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) degree required. Floating Policy: Clinicians must be willing and flexible to float to other clinical units and affiliated system hospital locations based on real-time operational volume.
