TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in Burlington, North Carolina, 27215!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years required License: Active license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS required Must-Have: - EPIC experience required - STEMI and Stroke facility experience required Description: The position involves a schedule of 3x12s, working nights from 3:00 PM to 3:30 AM. Weekend and holiday coverage may be required as needed. Charge experience in an emergency department is preferred. Candidates should have experience with a patient ratio of 4. Charting system experience in Epic is required. Previous trauma level I or II experience is preferred. Travel experience is desirable. The role involves care for special care populations including cancer, sepsis, medical emergencies, and behavioral health. This emergency department serves patients of all ages. Skills required include BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, and care of ventilated patients. Candidates must be able to manage central lines, administer continuous IV sedation, and monitor for cerebral vascular accidents. Understanding of blood gas interpretation, dysrhythmias, and isolation precautions is necessary. Other key skills include managing dysrhythmias, triage, trauma management, and procedural sedation monitoring. Floating to other departments may be necessary based on patient care needs. All registered nurses must pass a compliance EKG exam. Modules will be completed during orientation but are not billable.
