**Job Description:**
- **Unit Information:**
- **Emergency Department with 40+ Beds**
- **Staffing:** 120+ passionate professionals
- **Patient Ratios:** 4:1 (including 3 rooms and 1 high-volume hall bed)
- **Equipment & Technology:**
- Cutting-edge tools including cardiac monitors, EKGs, Ultrasound, Belmont Rapid Infuser, IO Drills, Lifepak, and more
- EMR system: Meditech
- **Key Responsibilities:**
- Provide exceptional patient care in high-pressure situations
- Perform IV starts and phlebotomy
- Monitor and interpret cardiac activity
- **Preferred Skills:**
- Adaptability in fast-paced environments
- Team player attitude
- Previous experience in high-pressure medical settings
- **Personality Traits for Success:**
- Outgoing and positive demeanor even under pressure
- Strong interpersonal skills to foster teamwork
- **Required Certifications:**
- BLS, ACLS, TNCC, ENPC, CPI for RN
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, CPI for Medic
- BLS, CPI for all staff
- **Dress Code:**
- RN: Gray scrub top with black or gray scrub bottoms
- Medic: Gray scrub top with black or gray scrub bottoms
- EDT/Secretary: Caribbean blue scrub top with Caribbean blue or black scrub bottoms
- Appropriate colored t-shirts permitted under nursing scrub jacket or hospital-approved jacket
