The role includes managing special care populations, such as cancer, sepsis, medical emergencies, and behavioral health. Staffing ratios are 4 patients per nurse. Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams will be essential. The position requires strong skills in several areas, including BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, and care of ventilated patients. Experience with central line care and neurological emergencies is also critical. Candidates should demonstrate proficiency in IV management and telemetry, specifically dysrhythmia interpretation. The emergency department is equipped to handle a variety of critical situations, including traumatic injuries and medical emergencies. This role involves utilizing advanced technology and care techniques in a fast-paced environment.
