Description:
The emergency department has a total of 65 beds.
Patient ratios include: Shock 2:1, Core 4:1, Psych 3:1, Exam 6:1.
Equipment utilized includes Alaris Pumps, Phillips Monitor, and Belmont Rapid Infuser.
The electronic medical record system used is Epic.
The candidate must possess critical thinking skills.
The candidate must be able to adjust to fluctuating patient volume.
This is a fast-paced environment requiring adaptability.
The type of patients seen in this unit varies widely.
Dress code includes navy blue scrubs.
No unacceptable attire policies are noted.
Candidates may be required to complete additional education modules before starting.
