Description:
Seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Room on night shifts.
The role offers an option of either 36 or 48 hours per week.
First-time travel nurses are welcome to apply.
The position requires at least six weekend shifts in a six-week schedule.
Candidates should have certifications including BLS, ACLS, NIH, and PALS.
Experience in managing arterial lines, BiPAP/CPAP, and ventilated patients is essential.
Applicants should be able to administer blood products and provide care for patients with cerebrovascular accidents.
Knowledge of isolation precautions and interpretation of arterial blood gases is preferred.
Experience in trauma cases, such as traumatic brain injuries and spinal cord injuries, is advantageous.
Successful candidates will work alongside interdisciplinary support teams.
The daily census is approximately 90 patients.
Candidates must be able to float to like units as needed.
Work will involve assessing a wide range of patient demographics, including neonates through geriatrics.
Overall, candidates should demonstrate strong clinical skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
