The emergency department has 34 beds, serving neonates to geriatrics. The average volume is about 100 visits per day. Nurses are expected to float to like acuities or less if needed. Experience with epic and pyxis is necessary. The facility has a triage area and telemetry. Conscious sedation may be part of the responsibilities. Candidates must have NIH/Stroke certifications. Charge experience is preferred but not required. Patient ratios are typically 5-6 per nurse during all shifts. The department offers interdisciplinary support from various teams. Candidates will not be interviewed; offers will be made directly based on submissions. Rapid response teams and support services are available for patients. All required certifications must be valid and presented upon application. All time off requests must be disclosed prior to submission.
