Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Rotating Shifts (Day & Night, 3x12-Hour Shifts) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting within a short-term acute care facility
- Maintain expected patient ratios of 4:1
- Float to other units and sister facilities based on unit needs and candidate skill set
- Document and chart accurately using Epic (HARSTOP required)
- Work rotating shifts including days and nights, with weekend availability expected at least every other weekend
- Commit to working 3 of the 5 designated holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Minimum of 1 year of RN experience required; 2 or more years preferred for non-first-time travelers; first-time travelers considered with 3 or more years of experience
- Proficiency with Epic EMR, including HARSTOP
- Must have a personal vehicle available for this assignment
- Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible as a travel candidate (local candidates may be considered under separate terms)
- All RTO and scheduling requests must be submitted upfront at time of submittal; post-offer RTO requests may not be granted
Preferred Experience / Skills
- 2 or more years of Emergency Room RN experience
- Prior travel nursing experience
- Flexibility to float across multiple facility locations within the health system
