**Exciting Travel RN - ER Opportunity!**
**Job Description**
- **Position Type:** Travel Registered Nurse - Emergency Room
- **Shift:** 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
- **Location:** Highlands, NC
- **Unit Information:**
- **Number of Beds:** 7
- **Staffing:**
- 2 nursing staff on nights
- Day shifts may include charge nurse (CNC) responsibilities and seasonal mid-shift support (10 AM - 10 PM from May to September)
- **Patient Ratios:** Per ENA guidelines
- **Equipment:** Standard medical equipment
- **EMR System:** Cerner
- **Key Qualifications:**
- **Must-Have Certifications:**
- BLS
- ACLS
- PALS
- **Preferred Certifications:**
- TNCC
- ENPC
- NRP
- CEN
- CPEN
- CTRN
- **Typical Procedures:**
- Standard Emergency Department procedures
- **Personality Fit:**
- Customer service focused and dedicated
- **Floating Areas:**
- Med/Surg (however, floating is minimal)
- **Dress Code:**
- Scrub Color: Navy
- **Weekend Requirements:**
- Rotating weekends, no on-call except during low volume flexing
- **Experience Required:**
- Minimum of 2 years in a relevant nursing role
