Travel Nurse RN - Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma - $1,915 per week in Easley, SC

TNCC, ENPC, and NRP preferred. Description: Shifts consist of 3 twelve-hour days from 07:00 to 19:30. Floating is required depending on need. Floating may be within the facility or to nearby facilities. Weekend coverage is required every other weekend but may change based on need. Previous charge experience is preferred. Patient ratio experience is required. Charting system experience is preferred. EMR experience of one year minimum with EPIC EMR is required. Staff will float to units they are qualified for and performing tasks for which competencies have already been demonstrated and documented. All agency staff must float to other units and/or campuses upon request due to census concerns. Travelers will need to begin the process of converting to employee status after the third consecutive contract or after 39 weeks. Staff will be eligible for reimbursement for hours spent completing modules, up to 16 hours. Modules are recorded in transcripts by the facility and time is not entered into timecards. Pre-assignment testing and modules are required for all travelers to complete within 48 hours of receiving the login information. Travelers must be 100 miles from every facility to be eligible to travel in the system. Under 50 miles is ineligible. Travelers must not float under 50 miles from the contracted campus they are applying to. It is crucial to have experience managing patients with multisystem organ dysfunction and advanced life support management. Candidates must be capable of managing acute medical emergencies and psychiatric conditions.
