These positions will care for patients who are admitted and waiting for bed availability. Care may occur in a designated area or, in rare circumstances, in the hallway. If there are no boarded patients, nurses may be utilized in an acute care area. Every other weekend and some holidays will be required. First-time travelers will be considered based on previous experience. Certifications must include ACLS. Nurses may float within their scope to meet facility needs. Candidates will be expected to accommodate a block schedule. Pending licenses are not accepted. A total of 16 hours of orientation will be provided. Two references are required.
