RN - Emergency Room Nurse Nights -  Sweetwater, TX  (Relocation Candidates Welcome)

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Emergency Room team at a rural West Texas hospital. The 8-bed ER handles approximately 30 patients per 24 hours and has emergency medicine board-certified physicians on-site 24/7.

The ideal candidate will have emergency nursing experience and the ability to provide prompt, safe, and effective care to patients with a wide range of acute illnesses and injuries in a fast-paced emergency setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, triage, and prioritize patients presenting with acute illnesses and injuries.
• Monitor patient conditions and respond promptly to emergencies.
• Administer medications and treatments according to provider orders and established protocols.
• Recognize changes in patient conditions and initiate appropriate interventions.
• Collaborate with emergency physicians and the healthcare team to coordinate patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using CPSI/Evident.
• Provide patient and family education and support.
• Maintain patient safety and follow emergency department protocols.
• Participate in holiday coverage as required.
