Common diagnoses/Types of patients Pediatrics-only hospital in the area that admits peds (will ship out if super sick), cardiac, STEMIs, Strokes, some trauma- for multisystem trauma sent to Bryan, general ER-abdominal pain, respiratory, GI, etc. Additional Notes " RNs are not responsible for setting up placement for the psych patients- have someone come screen and setup placement if they meet inpatient criteria.

Facility Details:
Level III STEMI and Stroke Receiving
Charting System: MEDITECH
# Beds/Trauma Bays 18 including 4 critical rooms-used for trauma or codes
Nurse: Patient Ratios 1:3-4 depending on acuity
Common diagnoses/Types of patients Pediatrics-only hospital in the area that admits peds (will ship out if super sick), cardiac, STEMIs, Strokes, some trauma- for multisystem trauma sent to Bryan, general ER-abdominal pain, respiratory, GI, etc.

Minimum Requirements:
Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC
Experience or 'Must have' skills: 2 years experience

Schedule:
3p-3a, EOW, 36 hrs./week
Matrix scheduling- try to accommodate travelers needs
Weekend Requirements every other weekend
Floating Requirements usually don't float- travelers would be first to float and would be helping hand if they do float

Additional Notes " RNs are not responsible for setting up placement for the psych patients- have someone come screen and setup placement if they meet inpatient criteria.
