Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights, 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30) | Every Other Weekend Required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a high-volume emergency department seeing approximately 170 patients per day across all age groups
- Deliver nursing care within a Level 1 stroke and cardiac center and a Level III trauma facility operating at Level II capacity
- Utilize Epic for all clinical documentation and charting
- Float between like units within skill set as required
- Commit to working 3 of the 5 designated holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
- Minimum 1 year of Emergency Room experience required
- Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC
- Proficiency with Epic EMR
- Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for a travel contract
- Must submit all RTO and scheduling requests upfront at time of submission; post-offer RTO requests may not be considered
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in a high-acuity or high-volume emergency department setting
- Familiarity with stroke, cardiac, and trauma patient populations
- Flexibility with scheduling and willingness to float between like units
