Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years in an acute care setting License: Current and valid driver's license or state-issued ID required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, ESI Must-Have: - Experience with highly acute patients - Ability to float within scope to meet facility needs - Willingness to be on call and cover rotating weekend shifts Description: The Registered Nurse will work in a fast-paced emergency room. The department cares for a variety of patients, including those from transplant, burn, and trauma centers. The nurse will see between 175-200 patients a day and must manage a range of complex cases. Required skills include the management of ventilated patients, administration of emergency medications, and interpretation of dysrhythmias. The nurse will be responsible for providing care to neonates, infants, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics. The unit operates with a 4:1 patient ratio on all shifts. Candidates must have prior experience in a Level II trauma center. The ability to float to other areas and adapt as needed is essential. Candidates must have no license hits and must meet all compliance requirements.
