Job Opportunity – Emergency Room Registered Nurse – Georgia
Start Date: November 9, 2026
Location: Columbus, Georgia
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Every other weekend required; floating within facility and scope of practice may be required; assignment includes holiday coverage based on major holidays falling within contract period
Highlights:
- Emergency Room setting serving adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatric patient populations
- Epic EMR system with Pyxis medication management
- Contract length determines orientation hours; maximum 7 days requested time off per contract
- RN will provide care for ER holds and manage complex patient presentations
- First-time travelers accepted with minimum 1 year of experience
- Bi-weekly orientation schedule; full compliance required to maintain start date
Requirements:
- Current Georgia or Compact state RN license required at time of submission
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Minimum 1 year of emergency room nursing experience
- Demonstrated competency in management of dysrhythmias, central line care and management, IV vasopressor administration, CPAP/BiPAP management, care of ventilated patients, isolation precautions, and triage
- Epic charting system experience required
- Community hospital and trauma level experience preferred
