Job Opportunity – Emergency Department Registered Nurse – Georgia

Start Date: September 28, 2026

Location: Georgia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 12-hour shifts with 4:1 patient ratio (days, nights, and weekends); every other weekend required; no call required; floating within facility/scope of practice as needed

Highlights:
  • Level 3 trauma center (in process) with primary stroke center designation and chest pain center
  • 59-bed Emergency Department with approximately 250 patient visits per day serving all age groups from neonates to geriatrics
  • Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and more
  • Specialized equipment including Arctic Sun cooling system and GlucoCommander
  • 12-hour orientation provided; accepts first-time travelers with minimum 2 years of experience
  • Maximum 7 days of requested time off permitted per contract
Requirements:
  • Active Georgia or Compact RN license required at time of application
  • Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience
  • Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS
  • Preferred Certifications: CPI, TNCC, ENPC
  • Required Skills: Care of ventilated patients, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, triage
  • Preferred Skills: Continuous IV sedation, procedural sedation administration/monitoring
  • Telemetry competency exam required
  • Full compliance documentation must be completed prior to start date
