Job Opportunity – Emergency Department Registered Nurse – Georgia

Schedule: 12-hour shifts with 4:1 patient ratio (days, nights, and weekends); every other weekend required; no call required; floating within facility/scope of practice as needed
Highlights:- Level 3 trauma center (in process) with primary stroke center designation and chest pain center
- 59-bed Emergency Department with approximately 250 patient visits per day serving all age groups from neonates to geriatrics
- Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and more
- Specialized equipment including Arctic Sun cooling system and GlucoCommander
- 12-hour orientation provided; accepts first-time travelers with minimum 2 years of experience
- Maximum 7 days of requested time off permitted per contract
Requirements:- Active Georgia or Compact RN license required at time of application
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience
- Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS
- Preferred Certifications: CPI, TNCC, ENPC
- Required Skills: Care of ventilated patients, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, triage
- Preferred Skills: Continuous IV sedation, procedural sedation administration/monitoring
- Telemetry competency exam required
- Full compliance documentation must be completed prior to start date
