# Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Emergency Department – Texas

Schedule: Night Shift, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, 13-week contract, rotating weekends required (4 shifts per schedule period), no on-call
Highlights:- 32-bed Emergency Department with 4:1 patient ratio and comprehensive trauma and emergency services
- Perform advanced procedures including intubations, lumbar punctures, TNK administration, laceration repair, suture removal, and splinting
- Collaborative team environment with experienced clinical coordinators, registered nurses, medics, and patient care technicians
- Meditech EMR system utilized throughout the facility
- Night shift staffing includes 1 Clinical Coordinator, 6 RNs, 1 Medic, and 1 PCT for optimal team support
- Opportunities for contract-to-permanent placement available
Requirements:- Current Texas RN license or ability to obtain prior to start date
- BLS and ACLS certification required
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification required by start date
- ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course) certification required by start date
- Minimum 2 years of emergency department nursing experience strongly preferred
- Navy blue scrubs required (facility-specific dress code enforced)
