Seven Healthcare is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a travel assignment in the ER/ED at our client's facility in San Antonio, TX. In this role, you will provide expert care to patients in a busy and dynamic emergency department environment. The position requires a strong background in acute care and proficiency with Meditech.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - ER/ED - Emergency Room/Emergency Department- Perform airway and respiratory procedures, including CPAP/BiPAP setup and monitoring
- Manage vascular access procedures, including peripheral IV and intraosseous insertion
- Participate in trauma assessments and resuscitation protocols
- Assist with emergency procedures such as procedural sedation monitoring and disaster response
- Conduct cardiac and critical care procedures, including defibrillation and code blue participation
- Administer medications, including emergency and pain management medications
- Provide care for neurological emergencies, including stroke alert activation
- Perform wound and orthopedic procedures, including splint application and wound irrigation
Requirements of the RN - ER/ED - Emergency Room/Emergency Department- Expertise in caring for an acute population
- Experience with Meditech
- ACLS, PALS, BLS, TNCC, ENPC, NIH, CPI certifications
