Key Responsibilities of the RN - ER/ED - Emergency Room/Emergency Department- Provide high-quality emergency medical care to patients
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team including RNs, advanced paramedics, and EMTs
- Manage patient treatment based on acuity and volume
- Adhere to protocols for certified chest pain, comprehensive stroke, Level 1 trauma, and burn care
Requirements of the RN - ER/ED - Emergency Room/Emergency Department- Texas RN licensure or eligibility for a compact license
- Current BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and PALS certifications
- SAMA, CPI or equivalent (with support provided for obtaining)
- Experience with Meditech EMR preferred
