Job Opportunity – Emergency Department Registered Nurse – Tennessee

Schedule: 36 hours per week; Day and night shifts available with dedicated unit secretary coverage (day and night) and tech support (Monday-Friday day and night)

- Work in a 19-bed Emergency Department plus a 4-bed telemetry-equipped psychiatric pod
- Maintain a manageable 4:1 patient ratio with excellent provider and nurse relations
- Utilize Meditech documentation system with state-of-the-art equipment including Hillrom, Stryker, GE, and Lifepak defibrillators
- Chest pain and stroke certified facility with strong focus on sepsis and stroke care protocols
- Join an experienced team with tenure ranging from 5 to 20+ years, demonstrating exceptional staff retention
- Opportunity to float within a multi-site health system including various emergency department locations
Requirements:
- Active RN license
- Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Current PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification
- CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) certification
- Strong sepsis and stroke skill sets required
- Navy scrubs required as unit uniform
