Job Opportunity – Emergency Department Registered Nurse – Tennessee

Start Date: September 28, 2026

Location: Chattanooga, Tennessee

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 36 hours per week; Day and night shifts available with dedicated unit secretary coverage (day and night) and tech support (Monday-Friday day and night)

  • Work in a 19-bed Emergency Department plus a 4-bed telemetry-equipped psychiatric pod
  • Maintain a manageable 4:1 patient ratio with excellent provider and nurse relations
  • Utilize Meditech documentation system with state-of-the-art equipment including Hillrom, Stryker, GE, and Lifepak defibrillators
  • Chest pain and stroke certified facility with strong focus on sepsis and stroke care protocols
  • Join an experienced team with tenure ranging from 5 to 20+ years, demonstrating exceptional staff retention
  • Opportunity to float within a multi-site health system including various emergency department locations
Requirements:
  • Active RN license
  • Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
  • Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
  • Current PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification
  • CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) certification
  • Strong sepsis and stroke skill sets required
  • Navy scrubs required as unit uniform
