TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in Charleston, West Virginia, 25304!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of RN experience required; 1 year of in-specialty experience required. License: Active WV/Compact RN License required; pending license accepted for submission. Certifications: BLS; ACLS; PALS; CPI (CPI available through agency and must be scheduled/obtained more than one week before start). Must-Have: Experience with telemetry and ER holding IV therapy and phlebotomy skills Ability to manage medications and cardiac drips Neurological and psychiatric experience including management of CVA and seizure disorders Respiratory and thoracic care including non-invasive airway management Description: This position is for a Registered Nurse in an Emergency Room setting. The role involves working night shifts, three times a week. You will be responsible for managing a patient ratio of 5:1 for adults and geriatrics. Travel RNs with the appropriate experience are welcome to apply. Weekend shifts are required every other weekend. You will float to the Emergency Department if needed. Strong skills in accessing ports, starting IVs, and managing blood products are essential. Experience with administering high flow nasal cannula and managing ventilated patients is preferred. Knowledge of heparin protocols and managing acute conditions such as CHF and COPD exacerbations is necessary. Candidates must possess a clean license verification and provide a minimum of two references from nursing management within the past two years. All personnel are required to receive the flu vaccine unless a medical exemption is provided. Covid vaccine is not required for this position.
