The shift hours are from 07:00 to 19:00. The patient population ranges from infants to geriatrics. The RN will work in a Level 1 Trauma center with a focus on various emergencies including neurological, orthopedic, psychiatric, and renal. The department has a high psych patient population. Every other weekend is required. Candidates must have the ability to float within scope to meet facility needs. Blocked schedules may be discussed during the interview. Candidates must have a permanent address greater than 100 miles from the facility to be considered. Candidates between 75 to 100 miles may be considered on a case-by-case basis. BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications must be through the American Heart Association. Candidates must be able to manage high acuity patients. Previous charge experience is preferred. References from two managers or charge nurses within the past two years are required.
