Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse – Emergency Department – Central Texas

Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM; rotating days, nights, and weekends (4 weekend shifts per schedule); no call required
Highlights:
- 32-bed Emergency Department with 4:1 patient ratios
- 13-week contract assignment with comprehensive shift rotation
- EMR system: Meditech
- Full range of emergency procedures including intubations, lumbar punctures, laceration repair, splinting, and TNK administration

Requirements:
- Active RN license in Texas or multistate compact license
- BLS, ACLS certifications required
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) required by start date
- ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course) required by start date
- NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience preferred
- Strong clinical skills in emergency procedures including LP, intubations, and trauma care
