Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse – Emergency Department – Central Texas

Start Date: August 24, 2026

Location: Austin, Texas

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM; rotating days, nights, and weekends (4 weekend shifts per schedule); no call required

  • 32-bed Emergency Department with 4:1 patient ratios
  • 13-week contract assignment with comprehensive shift rotation
  • EMR system: Meditech
  • Full range of emergency procedures including intubations, lumbar punctures, laceration repair, splinting, and TNK administration

  • Opportunity to work alongside a dedicated team of RNs, medics, and support staff

Requirements:

  • Active RN license in Texas or multistate compact license
  • BLS, ACLS certifications required
  • TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) required by start date
  • ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course) required by start date
  • NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification
  • Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience preferred
  • Strong clinical skills in emergency procedures including LP, intubations, and trauma care
