Job Opportunity – Emergency Department Registered Nurse – Georgia

Schedule: 12-hour shifts with every other weekend; patient ratio 1:4; orientation hours provided based on contract length
Highlights:
- Large, high-acuity emergency department with 59 beds serving 165-175 patients daily
- Stroke and STEMI certified facility treating diverse patient population from neonates to geriatrics
- Epic EMR system utilized exclusively (experience required)
- Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, and social services
- Contract includes holiday coverage as specified; maximum 7 days requested time off per assignment
- Minimal floating required, within facility and scope of practice only
Requirements:
- Active Georgia or Compact RN license required at time of submission
- Minimum 2 years of emergency department nursing experience required
- Previous travel nursing experience mandatory; candidates with at least 3 completed ER travel contracts strongly preferred
- Epic EMR system experience required (hard requirement)
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale, and PALS
- Experience with 1:4 patient ratios in emergency department settings
- Trauma Level I or II experience preferred
- Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
- Full compliance documentation due Tuesday prior to start date
