Description:
Traveler shall be scheduled in accordance with facility policy.
Traveler is expected to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees.
There are 16 main beds and 11 low acuity spaces in the unit.
The patient ratio is 5:1.
Available support includes paramedics, technicians, and unit secretaries.
Equipment used includes LUCAS and Level 1 Rapid Infuser.
Documentation is completed using Meditech.
Scheduling requirements include three 12-hour shifts.
There is no floating policy in effect.
Advanced skills needed include IV and lab draws, RSI, and assistance with chest tubes and central lines.
The dress code requires navy blue scrubs.
