Description:
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Emergency Room.
This position requires 1+ years of experience.
First-time travelers are accepted.
BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIH, and TNCC certifications must be in hand at the time of submission.
The role involves two weekend shifts per contract.
Patient ratios are 4:1.
You will be expected to float to like units as needed.
Interdisciplinary support includes various teams such as physical therapy, respiratory services, and social services.
Daily patient census is approximately 100.
The unit has 22 rooms and 22 beds.
Patients may present with a variety of diagnoses, including respiratory infections, trauma, and psychiatric conditions.
Special procedures include intubation, central line placements, and chest tube management.
Skills required include managing acute conditions and performing emergency interventions.
