Must-Have: Experience with Ventilated Patients and management of dysrhythmias.
Description:
Minimum experience of 2 years required.
Unit accepts first-time travelers.
Every other weekend work is expected.
No on-call duty required.
Floating may occur within the facility as needed.
Candidates will be reviewed clinically to determine fit.
Successful candidates will be sent to the manager for final decision.
Requests for time off are limited to a maximum of 7 days.
If one major holiday falls within the assignment, the traveler will be expected to work it.
If two major holidays fall within the assignment, the traveler will be expected to work both.
If three major holidays fall within the assignment, the traveler is expected to work two.
Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Day.
Full compliance is required to start on time.
Local candidates are accepted at the same rate.
A total of 13 hours of orientation is required.
The facility treats various age groups, including neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics.
The daily census averages around 250 visits per day.
The unit includes support from multiple interdisciplinary teams.
Special procedures include level 3 trauma care and primary stroke care.
Various special equipment is available for patient care and monitoring.
