Description:
This is a travel RN position in the Emergency Department.
The position requires a minimum of 1 year of current acute care experience in the Emergency Department.
Candidates must hold valid BLS, ACLS, ENPC, NIH, and PALS certifications.
The nurse will work in a unit with a patient ratio of 1:4.
Typical procedures performed include EKGs, IVs, medication administration, conscious sedation, and wound care.
The ideal candidate is positive, flexible, and a team player.

The unit operates 24/7 with a team that includes RNs, a medic, a physician, and a radiology technician.
The use of GE monitors and Baxter pumps is common in this setting.
The electronic medical record system utilized is Meditech.
Candidates with ER charge RN experience and a willingness to float between departments are preferred.
