Description:
The Emergency Department has 52 beds and a staff of 134.
Staff includes 1 charge nurse, 4 nurses, 1 technician, 1 unit clerk, 1 physician, and 1 midlevel provider per pod on night shift.
Patient ratios are 3:1 average for general cases, 5:1 for low acuity, and team nursing for pediatrics.
Candidates should have a good grasp of patient experience and knowledge of typical procedures performed, including IV starts, medication administration, sedations, and care for pediatric patients.
Experience in a large facility is preferred, along with Meditech familiarity.
Candidates should be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
