Job Opportunity – Emergency Department Registered Nurse – Georgia

Location: Snellville, Georgia
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio, every other weekend required, 36 orientation hours, maximum 7 days requested time off per contract
Highlights:
- High-volume emergency department with 46 rooms and average daily census of 135 patients
- Full-spectrum patient population from infants to geriatrics
- Epic EMR system with Pyxis and SBAR protocols

- May float to sister campus as needed for optimal staffing coverage
- No on-call requirements; structured scheduling with self-scheduling options
Requirements:
- Active Georgia or Compact State RN license required at time of submission
- Minimum 1-2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience required
- Previous travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS
- Epic charting system experience required
- Clinical competencies must include: BiPAP/CPAP management, ventilated patient care, central line care, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, IV vasopressor administration, isolation precautions/PPE, and triage
- Full compliance documentation required to start on time; late compliance results in 2-week delay due to bi-weekly orientation schedule
- Holiday availability: must work major holidays that fall during assignment period per facility policy
