Job Opportunity – Emergency Department Registered Nurse – Colorado
Start Date: August 31, 2026
Location: Thornton, Colorado
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM, 12-hour shifts in a high-volume Emergency Department averaging 145 patients daily

- High-acuity 40-bed Emergency Department with comprehensive trauma and emergency care capabilities
- 4:1 nurse-to-patient ratio with strong team support including paramedics, EMTs, and unit secretaries
- Diverse case mix including trauma activations, stroke protocols, sepsis management, procedural sedation, and pediatric emergency care
- State-of-the-art equipment including IV pumps, EKG machines, ultrasound, Belmont rapid infusers, and GE transport monitors
- Meditech EMR system with established workflows and protocols
- Collaborative environment with approximately 110 clinical staff members supporting emergency operations
Requirements:
- Active Colorado RN license or compact state licensure
- Minimum 1-2 years of current acute care Emergency Department experience required
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale, PALS, TNCC, and ENPC
- CPI Blue Card certification required
- Trauma Level 1 or Level 2 experience strongly preferred
- Prior Meditech EMR experience preferred
