Description:
Candidates must have a minimum of one year of experience.
First-time travelers are not accepted.
Patient population spans from infants to geriatrics.
Must possess current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS.
General emergency department skills are required.
Daily census averages 135 patients with 46 rooms available.
The unit operates on a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio.
Floating to a sister campus may be required.
There are no call requirements associated with this position.
Holidays: If assigned during one major holiday, the candidate is expected to work.
If two major holidays fall during the assignment period, the candidate must work both.
If three major holidays are in the assignment period, the candidate is expected to work two of those holidays.
Compliance with all onboarding and core items is required to start on time.
All requests for time off must be finalized prior to submission.
No time off can be requested during orientation week.
