The patient population includes adults to geriatrics. Full compliance is required to start on time. If not compliant in time, there may be a push back of 2 weeks due to orientation schedules. The traveler is expected to work one major holiday if it falls during their assignment. If two major holidays fall during the assignment, the traveler must work both. If three major holidays fall during the assignment, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays. Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve/New Year’s Day. Floating may be required within facility/scope of practice. Travelers must finalize all requests for time off prior to submission. No requests for time off can be made during orientation week. The maximum allowed time off is 7 days. Return travelers must complete one assignment outside before reapplying. Modules are non-billable but are factored into orientation hours. All compliance documents are due by the specified deadline prior to the start of the assignment.
